\nThe first interactive theme park in Slovenia ? Minicity
\nLjubljana ? officially opened its doors with tonights grand opening. The
\npark allows children
\nto put on the shoes of adults and in a fun way acquaint
\nthemselves with different occupations and learn about the world that
\nsurrounds them. The
\ncreative childrens city, Minicity Ljubljana, was opened by its
\nmayor \u017diva, together with the mayor of the City Municipality of
\nLjubljana Zoran
\nJankovi\u0107 and Jo\u017ee Mermal, President of the BTC Management Board.
\nMinicity found its home in BTC City.
\n<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n

\nThe mayor of Ljubljana, Zoran Jankovi\u0107<\/strong>, emphasized
\nthe importance of this creative childrens city, Minicity Ljubljana, for
\nLjubljana, by
\nsaying: ?It pleases me to see Ljubljana getting an area where
\nchildren are able to experience diverse activities, which allows them to
\nlearn about
\ndifferent life situations and gain knowledge, with which their
\ntransition to responsible adulthood will be easier. Ljubljana is the
\nproud holder of the
\ntitle European Green Capital 2016 and the first European capital to
\nbe included in the Zero Waste network. The sustainable development of
\nour city,
\nsomething we are really passionate about, is based on the
\nresponsible attitude of all, even our youngest, towards the environment.
\nI am very proud to see
\nour public service companies, such as Snaga, Vodovod?Kanalizacija,
\nLjubljanski potniški promet and Javni zavod \u017divalski vrt Ljubljana,
\nincluded in the
\nMinicity project, wherein they encourage children to reduce the
\namount of waste, to strive towards the economical use of drinkable
\nwater, and introduce
\nthem to the advantages of using public transport services and be
\nresponsible when dealing with animals. I invite you to visit Minicity
\nand to learn about
\nthe quality public services in the City Municipality of Ljubljana.?\n<\/p>\n

\nWith the creative childrens city Minicity, BTC gained a partner with
\nan innovative offer of free-time activities for children, not only on a
\nSlovenian,
\nbut also on a international scale, as pointed out by the President
\nof the BTC Management Board Jo\u017ee Mermal<\/strong>, who also
\nadded: ?We see
\nMinicity Ljubljana as a long-term partner, with whom we want to
\ncooperate in the development of the first Slovenian centre providing
\nparents with services
\nand knowledge needed from the moment they decide to become parents
\nto the point where they need to conquer tougher challenges, which they
\nmight face with
\nadolescent children. Of course, all this within our capabilities.?\n<\/p>\n

\nThe mayor of Minicity, \u017diva<\/strong>, promised the citizens
\nof the creative childrens city, the kids, lots of fun and new knowledge,
\nwhile showing
\ntheir parents what their children are really capable of. The grand
\nopening of Minicity was followed by a game, in which \u017diva was joined by
\nchildren of
\nseveral famous Slovene entrepreneurs.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe opening of the creative childrens city Minicity Ljubljana was
\nattended by the leading representatives of 31 Slovenian and foreign
\ncompanies and public
\ninstitutions, who are all co-creating this childrens city. The
\nMinicity team spruced up the programme with dancing and singing
\nsurprises for grownups as
\nwell as for the children.\n<\/p>\n
