{"id":8244,"date":"2015-02-09T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-02-08T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.btc.si\/2015\/02\/btc-company-supports-exhibition-in-vienna\/"},"modified":"2015-02-09T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2015-02-08T23:00:00","slug":"btc-company-supports-exhibition-in-vienna","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/razvoj.btc.si\/en\/btc-company-supports-exhibition-in-vienna\/","title":{"rendered":"BTC Company supports exhibition in Vienna"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n<strong>Yesterday marks an important milestone for the Slovenian contemporary artists. <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nThe Viennese gallery K&uuml;nstlerhaus opened the exhibition with the title        <em>Magic of Art. The protagonists of the Slovenian contemporary art 1968-2013<\/em>. The exhibition, supported also by the BTC Company, will remain on<br \/>\ndisplay until March 29<sup>th<\/sup> 2015 and will offer more than 110 works of contemporary Slovenian artists of different fine art genres.<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong><\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe <em>Magic of Art<\/em> exhibition boasts works of 53 painters, 19<br \/>\nphotographers, 18 sculptors and 6 graphic artists. The exhibition?s<br \/>\ncurator,<br \/>\nAleksander Bassin, has with his selection of works from national,<br \/>\nauthors? own, and private collections managed to include the features of<br \/>\nthe contemporary<br \/>\nfigural arts from the 1970s and 1980s. The mentioned features are<br \/>\nshown as the expressive new figuration and neoconstructivism, whereas a<br \/>\nstep into the<br \/>\nlate 1980s and the early 1990s is shown in the retro-avant-garde and<br \/>\nin the individualised author?s poetics. A separate part of the<br \/>\nexhibition is dedicated<br \/>\nto the landscape (titled <em>Landscape<\/em>), which can be regarded as the thematic preoccupation of many Slovenian painters and photographers.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe exhibition is held in the facilities of the Society of Austrian<br \/>\nartists, which is the oldest society of this kind in Austria. Slovenian<br \/>\nworks of art<br \/>\nwill be on display in the K&uuml;nstlerhaus gallery until March 29<sup>th<\/sup> 2015. Afterwards, the exhibition will move to Zagreb, where it will be on<br \/>\ndisplay in Gliptoteka from April 9<sup>th<\/sup> onwards.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nIn 2014 the BTC Company was a supporter of more than 200 individuals<br \/>\nand organisations from the fields of sports, environment protection,<br \/>\nhumanitarianism,<br \/>\neducation, science, and culture.
